This is your opportunity to engage in research-based professional development opportunities designed to enhance your professional growth and maximize your effectiveness as you start in your new role with Dallas ISD. The professional development hours gained at The New Teacher Academy can be used to satisfy district and state professional learning requirements. In this session teachers will learn how to identify the proficiency levels of their English learners and how this information can be used to inform instruction and planning. Teachers will also come away with many powerful strategies to identify how ELPS can be integrated into instruction to make learning come alive and comprehensible for students. This session counts towards your Future hours!
